Trending News: Ashneer Grover has revealed that he got an email from a casting director of Bigg Boss Season 19 asking him to join as a “wildcard entry.” The former Shark Tank India judge posted about this on social media and also mentioned Salman Khan in his response. The email’s subject line was “Casting Invitation for Bigg Boss Season 19 – Wildcard Entry.” It claimed to be from a senior casting coordinator of the show and spoke of an “exclusive chance to join as a wildcard contestant.” The message also praised Grover’s “dynamic personality, strong social media presence and unique appeal.” Grover shared a screenshot of the email with his comments, writing, “Haha! Salman bhai se pooch le!! Mai to free ho jaaunga tab tak” and “Yeh ‘mail merge’ kisi ki to naukri khayega.” Mail merge is a tool used to send bulk emails at once.

His Reaction to the Email

Ashneer added another post saying, “Itni bhauklahat – kuchh zyaada hi competition de diya Rise & Fall ne lagta hai! Is bechaare casting director ki to khair nahi aaj!!” He was pointing to his own reality show Rise and Fall, claiming it has become a rival for Bigg Boss. He also reshared the email on his Instagram Stories. He had posted the tweet at 12:13 pm on September 26, but it is no longer visible on the platform. A user replied to him, “Paaji, you yourself are the big boss, no need to go anywhere.” Another wrote, “Big boss ke ghar mei Big Boss ki entry.”

Past Issues With Salman Khan

The businessman and the superstar had earlier clashed. In an old interview, Grover said he was not allowed to take a photo with Salman during a sponsored ad shoot. He claimed he had spent three hours with Salman for a company briefing but the actor’s manager said “Sir” doesn’t like photos. Grover said he refused to take a picture and commented on the actor’s attitude. However, Grover later changed his tone when he appeared on Bigg Boss 18 and Salman confronted him about those remarks. In a recent interview, Grover also indirectly criticised the actor. “Reality shows have to be about contestants. In India, we have a big show with a big superstar. It’s become more about him than the contestants. Who’s putting in the hours? Bhai, aap to ek weekend mein aa rahe ho. The ones working 24/7 are the contestants,” he said.
